Nimble expands social selling opportunities by integrating with existing business sales and marketing tools.
After consistently receiving feedback from its customers and partners about wanting to customize Nimble to their specific needs, the Social CRM platform obliged. The Santa Monica, Ca.-based tech startup has launched their Developer Network and opened their Contact API to the public after several weeks in private beta. The new API (Application Programming Interface) will allow businesses and developers to integrate Nimble with their existing sales, marketing, and other business software.
“The API represents a major milestone in achieving our mission of helping small teams nurture stronger relationships to drive more business opportunities,” said Jason McDowall, director of product at Nimble. “Our API puts Nimble at the center of any customer engagement workflow by tying together complementary tools in the areas of sales, marketing, customer service, and accounting.”
In addition to the début of the Developer Network and Contact API, Nimble has created an App Marketplace page to show off their new integration partners. At launch, MailChimp, Wufoo, Hubspot, and Rapportive are already live with Hootsuite, Freshdesk, Zapier, Quoteroller, Web Scribble and OneSaas, Import2, and StarfishETL coming soon.
Interested businesses can sign up for API access at Nimble’s developer portal and can get started by reading through the documentation.
